April 2019: LI's Environmental Sustainability

In advance of Earth Day and in the first days of Spring, join WEDLI for a discussion about environmental conservation on Long Island.

Our speaker is Carrie Meek Gallagher, the Regional Director for the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), whose mission is to conserve, improve and protect New York's natural resources and environment and to prevent, abate and control water, land and air pollution.
Carrie will cover a wide range of issues, including safe drinking water, garbage recycling, and environmental sustainability on Long Island.
