Karen Dowd is a Syosset attorney who concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning and administration and real estate. Prior to that, Karen worked as several law firms both in New York City and Nassau County. Among her practice areas were commercial litigation, bankruptcy, labor and employment and utilities law.
Karen graduated from Vassar College with a degree in political science and from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
In addition to her law practice, Karen is the co-chair of the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association’s pro bono legal clinic. The legal clinic is held twice a month at the Mary Brennan INN in Hempstead.
In her spare time, Karen is an avid golfer. In the Fall, she referees high school field hockey in Nassau County.
