Catherine Fee

Catherine Fee has a distinguished record of private and public service throughout Long Island and currently serves as President of Empire Government Strategies. Catherine spearheads strategic planning and execution of government relations initiatives for clients, as well as identifies, cultivates and secures new opportunities to expand the firm’s influence and client base. Catherine oversees the tracking of NYS legislation, analyzes political and legislative trends to identify opportunities and risks for clients, delivers actionable insights and recommendations, and identifies potential sources of funding from federal, state and private sources.

Catherine has cultivated strong working relationships with key Long Island stakeholders including public officials, c-suite executives, local unions, civic leaders and community organizations. She has worked with businesses of all sizes across Long Island providing assistance in relocating companies to the island or expanding their footprint by facilitating access to financing and collaborating with other government agencies, educational institutions and private sector partners to foster an environment conducive to industrial growth and innovation.

Over her career, Catherine has organized island-wide events to bring together businesses and key decision makers on the federal, state and local levels. Her broad knowledge of Long Island business needs makes her a critical asset to Empire’s government relations clients.

Catherine is an honoree of Richner Communication’s 2025 Premier Business Women Awards and recognized by Blank Slate Media as a 40 Under 40 nominee. She earned a BA from Queens College and an MBA from Adelphi University. In addition to WEDLI, Catherine is as a member of Girls, Inc.’s Advisory Board, the MacArthur Business Alliance Economic Impact Study Committee, and the Huntington Chamber of Commerce Government Relations Committee.
