Jane F. Reed is Senior Vice President and Senior Commercial Lending Officer at The First National Bank of Long Island. Jane is responsible for the administration of a number of the Bank’s most valuable customer relationships, the management of various commercial lending products, and the centralized monitoring of the commercial lending portfolio. The First National Bank of Long Island is a full-service commercial bank that has been meeting the financial needs of privately-owned businesses, professionals and service-conscious consumers since 1927.
A financial services industry veteran whose career in banking spans over 30 years, Jane joined the bank in 2004 as a Relationship Manager and was promoted in 2014 to SVP and Team Leader responsible for the Nassau and NYC Regions. Before joining The First National Bank of Long Island, Jane was a Vice President at a major money center bank where she held various positions. Like many banking industry leaders, Jane began her career on the “front line” starting as a part-time teller with Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co. while attending college.
Jane was raised on Long Island and holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Long Island University/C.W. Post, and successfully completed The ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking, and The Wharton School Leadership Certificate. Jane presently lives in Whitestone and is the proud mother of three adult sons.
