Martha Stansbury

Martha M. Stansbury is the Center Administrator of the Stony Brook University Small Business Development Center responsible for developing and managing the Center’s Federal and State budgets, as well as the Center’s operations and marketing efforts.  Ms. Stansbury is responsible for special program development and the grant proposals supporting those programs.  Ms. Stansbury brings to WEDLI her experience in financial and operations management within manufacturing and non-profit sectors. Responsibilities have ranged from budget preparation and analysis, comprehensive policies and procedures development and implementation to business development, grant writing and project management. Ms. Stansbury holds an undergraduate degree in Education from Boston College and an MBA in Finance from Fordham University.  Ms. Stansbury sits on the Board of Directors of the Three Village Chamber of Commerce, a former Treasurer of the Ladies Golf Committee and current Finance Committee member at St. George’s Golf and Country Club.  Ms. Stansbury is former Vice President of the North Suffolk Garden Club and remains active with an expertise in propagation.
